ACR91 PCMCIA smart card reader is a compact reader designed for PDAs, notebooks, and portable computers with PCMCIA interface.

The ACR91 is designed to meet all major standards like PC/SC, ISO 7816, GSM 11.11, Home Banking Computer Interface (HBCI), the PC-99 Specification.

The ACR91 reader/writer provides a uniform interface for communication from the computer to the smart card for a wide variety of cards. It will handle the interface so that the software engineers need not to understand the full technical details of the smart card/computer interface to carry out implementation of a smart card system.
